Nino tells you:

But I'm open to negotiations!

Leave a comment here telling me where you found me, add me as a friend, and I (just might) add you back!

I'm not up to talking about my age and I don't really talk about where I live very often because my mum has instilled me with a sense of internet paranoia. That said, I have met some of the peeps my brother is friends with online in person, so who knows? I also don't go by my real name, although some of my friends here on LJ know it. Mostly I got by Shima or Kizzy or some derivation thereof.

Mostly I discuss Asian drama and Asian music, although I like pretty much all music from Jrock to country western (except for American rap, blegh). I also write reviews of movies, books and drama, and regularly discuss whatever I'm watching. I used to write fan fiction, now not so much. Don't friend me if you're expecting to follow my fan fiction. ^,-

I belong to the Arashi and AAA fandoms although I follow a lot of others. I do not like Twilight, but that doesn't mean I can't be friends if you do. I also have a love-hate relationship with Harry Potter. (I'm anti-canon, just so you know.) I'm also a lurker of the Young Wizards fandom.

I make music videos! There's a link to my YouTube channel on my profile, feel free to check those out. I sometimes post them here if I remember, but not always.

I'm also a straight-A student studying English, although I'm also really good at math. I took six years of French, I'm teaching myself Japanese, and I used to draw all the time, now I don't really have time nor am I up to it.

P.S. If you're coming from any comm I'm part of (especially [info]all_unwritten, because I adore all of you, and any Arashi or AAA comms!), don't be afraid to comment and ask to be friends! I warn you, I am a rant-er. Majorly.

So I've been looking about for music I particularly like that's used commonly in Theatrical Trailers. Thanks to an AMV I found "To the Stars" from Dragonheart, and I really like X-Ray Dog's "Angel's Flight", too. ES Posthumus' "Nara" was also solved for me from an AMV. (And Angel's Flight from a DMV.)

But I can't for the life of me figure out where this one melody is from. It might not be a trailer, it might be a film theme.

Take a listen and tell me what you think, I'm dying to know:

Made really quick on GarageBand. Probably not the right key, but I don't care.

I forgot to mention this! My short story "Last Forever" won Very Honorable Mention in the BOCES Creative Writing Contest. I really need to thank my mom for helping me edit, and everybody else who read it and commented on it before I submitted it.

But for all of you who have never read it, please enjoy Last Forever, a short story.

Whee! In only about... Hmm... Eight hours, over the course of two days, I made a fan video for the movie Tada, Kimi wo Aishiteru! (I should be doing English homework. Hehe.) Hopefully my Hana Yori Dango video won't be far behind, although I have a feeling it's not going to happen during break. Aww.

Anyway, it is now viewable on YouTube (click the image or the title for the link to the video on YouTube).

Title: To Almost Be Your Way Too Young
Movie: Tada, Kimi wo Aishiteru (Just, Loving You) [International Title: Heavenly Forest]
Song: "Time to be your 21" by Alexz Johnson
